AMIRA Group was founded in 1991. Certificate of organization was granted to JSC AMIRA by Committee for foreign affairs of St. Petersburg Mayor"s Office and was signed by Chairman of the Committee, Vladmir Putin, who subsequently was elected President of Russian Federation.
At the first stage of its development the company paid much attention to the integration of new engineering solutions and technologies developed by leading world producers and also to the purchase of the newest up-to-date equipment.
After gaining experience, the company has broadened the range of its activities and services, mainly now AMIRA is occupied:

Thus, by the time our company started its own production (in 2000 the manufacture of lighting poles "Amira-Stalkonstrukcia" was founded and in 2003 another manufacture "Amira-SvetoTechnika" was organized to produce street luminaries and floodlights), it could already offer the whole range of services in the field of street illumination, among which were designing, installation and delivery services.
Today AMIRA Group is working hard to broaden its product range and the sphere of their application which is not limited only by street illumination projects. Now JSC AMIRA participates in many projects of sports and industrial illumination, decorative and architectural accent lighting; it works to illuminate such significant objects of transport infrastructure as airports, seaports, railway stations, etc. Since each and every of the aforementioned trends is very specific, our company has designed different types of illumination devices and lighting poles which are now widely used in practice.
Today one of the key aims of AMIRA Group manufacturing companies is to improve and to perfect the process of production in order to provide quick supplies of products for our customers as well as to let them be fully satisfied with the quality of our goods and services provided.

Since June 2006 the AMIRA Company has started improving the quality of its work by following the requirements of the management system quality ISO 9001:2000.
In May 2007 specialists from Certification Association "Russky Reggistr" which belongs to the World Certification Net "IQNet" took a certification audit of the company management system quality.
The outcome of the audit was positive and the certification association took the decision to grant Certificate of Conformity to AMIRA Group
numbering : JSC "AMIRA" , "AMIRA-Stalkonstrukcia" LTD., "AMIRA-SvetoTechnika" LTD. and "Petrosvet" LTD.
Thus, AMIRA Group has obtained the International Certificate of Conformity with regard to the system of the company quality management being in compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2000.
The present Certificate is the confirmation to the fact that AMIRA Group follows the system of quality management while:
- designing illumination constructions and power supply systems, also while elaborating estimate documents;
- producing poles for street illumination, contact and communication systems;
- assembling luminaries and floodlights;
- doing digging works, assembling and installing wooden, concrete and reinforced concrete elements, insulating works, land improvement, installing electrical devices and equipment and their commissioning, arranging internal and exterior communications;
- arranging wholesale supplies of lighting fixture and equipment.
